A teenager has every right to feel how they feel when they feel it and The Teen Society will be a place where they will be safe to shine and can be comfortable in their own skin.
Adolescence is a crucial period for developing social and emotional habits important for mental well-being. It is essential for teens to learn to balance their emotions through mindfulness practices such as learning how to deal with stress, anxiety & depression, developing skills to take care of your body and mind, and embracing routine with physical excercise, sleep hygiene, and healthy eating habits.
;
The Teen Society provides support, tools, resources, and more to help teens in need gain valuable knowledge and skills that will accelerate their path to success in all areas of life as they transition into adulthood.

Our Mission
;
The Teen Society is an organization dedicated to raising awareness and embracing the teenage chapter in life. As a member of The Teen Society, our teens will be provided with a place to renew, rebuild, and reclaim their lives- lives that matter most.
Through positive approaches such as entertainment, performance enhancement, empowerment, creativity, education, and community service, The Teen Society provides teens with a place to flourish and become their best selves. Our goal is to engage teenagers, ages 13-19, in a creative environment that supports their physical, social, and emotional development.
Teen mental health issues and drug use in the Verde Valley are devastating. Overdose deaths have risen over 20% this last year in Yavapai County with 68% of the deaths linked to the youth population (The Daily Courier, 2021). According to the U.S. Census (2021), 12% of the Yavapai County population is in poverty.
There are limited resources available in our area that focus specifically on teens in our community and allow them a place to engage with one another in a healthy environment while building skills necessary to positive growth and development.
The Teen Society fulfills needs in our community for parents who work or are struggling to find a safe, empowering place for their teen to thrive.
